  • New and updated features:
  • Hardware security – improvements to TPM interoperability, UEFI secure boot and virtualization-based security.
  • Network security – updates and upgrades to multiple network protocols to help propel the protection.
  • Protocol updates – TCP and UDP packets are the core entity of network traffic. Security enhancements to both TCP and UDP.
  • TLS 1.3 enabled by default.
  • DNS-over-HTTPS – also called secure DNS, Server 2022 enable DNS lookups to be encrypted using HTTPS.
  • Azure Integrations – Windows Server 2022 helps interact with and migrate to the Azure platform.
